Waitlist privacy notice · Last updated October 29, 2026

Short version: we only keep your email (plus your age range and how you found us) so we can send Guava Study updates, like build progress and our launch. We never sell it. Unsubscribe anytime. If you’re under 13, we don’t keep anything.

Who we are

Guava Study is an iPhone study app that’s still being built. This page covers the Guava Study waitlist website. We’ll publish a separate privacy policy for the app itself before it launches.

What we collect

  • Your email address.
  • Your age range: 13–17 or 18+. We ask so we can follow the law for younger users.
  • How you found us, if the link you used had a tag on it (for example ?ref=maya or a campaign tag). That tells us which link sent you. It isn’t about you personally.
  • The date you signed up.

That’s it. We don’t ask for your name, school, or location. The page has no ads, no analytics or tracking scripts, no cookies, and no tracking pixels. We don’t store your IP address with your signup.

If you’re under 13

Guava Study is for students 13 and older. If you choose “Under 13,” the page doesn’t send or save anything, not even your email. If we ever find out we got info from someone under 13 anyway, we’ll delete it.

How we use your email

Only to send Guava Study updates: build progress, early-access news, and when we launch. We won’t send you anything else, and we keep it low-key.

Who else sees it

We never sell or rent your info, and we don’t share it with advertisers. Your signup is stored with our hosting provider (Netlify), and if we use an email service to send updates, it will hold the list only to send those emails for us.

Unsubscribe or delete

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@guavastudy.com and ask us to remove or delete your email, and we’ll do it.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe, or until the waitlist is no longer needed after launch, whichever comes first. Then we delete it.
